fill the salt reservoir with dedicated dishwasher salt (never table salt), top up the rinse aid, and set the hardness level per the manual. If the film persists = the system needs professional calibration to your area's exact water — a standard part of every visit we make.
the triple filter system in the base clogged with food debris, a kinked drain hose or blocked sink connection, or a tired drain pump.
twist out the base filter assembly, clean it under running water with a brush, check the hose, and run a short program. Clean filters resolve most F11 cases.
a closed stopcock or weak pressure, the inlet-hose mesh filter scaled up (very common with Egyptian water), or the intake valve.
open the stopcock fully; close the water, detach the hose and clean the mesh filter. A persisting code with good pressure = the valve or flow meter — parts we carry ready.
The program takes its full time but results are poor: an undissolved tablet, remaining grease, sometimes F24/F25. Cause #1: limescale choking the heating element; #2: the temperature sensor or heater relay.
run an intensive program with a dishwasher descaler and compare. Persisting = a meter check of the heater and sensor — replaced with a genuine part in one visit.
arm nozzles clogged with scale and debris, an arm not seated after cleaning, or a weakening circulation pump (F78/F79 in some cases).
remove the arms (they release easily), clear the nozzles with a toothpick, rinse, refit until the click — and spin each arm by hand to confirm it's free. Persisting weakness = circulation pump check.
plug/power, a door lock not engaging (it won't start without a firm lock — F32/F33/F36), or electronics.
a direct socket, close the door firmly to the click, unplug for a full 10 minutes and restart. Persisting = lock and board diagnosis — we work on Miele boards at component level where possible.

Yes — the G 7000 AutoDos system (the rotating PowerDisk) sometimes clogs from humidity or an old disk. We clean the system and check its motor, sourcing genuine parts if needed. Until we arrive: remove the disk and use normal detergent in the drawer — the machine runs fine without it.
F70 means the safety float in the base detected water — a real internal leak. Close the stopcock, unplug, and don't run or tilt it — the source (gasket, hose, connection) must be found and fixed, then the system reset. It takes priority in our schedule.
